The main purpose of this website is to provide employees and individuals generally, with high quality remuneration information. Until now, such services have traditionally been available only to companies and employers, not employees.

In fact, many companies in Australia pay thousands of dollars to expensive remuneration consultants so that they know what to pay the various positions and people in their company. However, this information is known to only a few people in the company, is often highly secret and is not shared widely. 

Even if your company does subscribe to expensive salary survey products, there is no guarantee that your HR group will have the information you need, at the time when you need it quickly.

The team at whatareyouworth.com.au has spent many months researching, gathering and sourcing high quality remuneration data, which we have now been able to turn into a format which is of most use to individuals, or line managers who need to know how much to pay particular roles. There are over 20 salary surveys in Australia, many of them available publicly and/or commercially – if you know where to look.

For each of the 200+ jobs for which we have developed reports, we have integrated information into our database from at least five reputable sources, and we have also bolstered this information with data we have researched and collected ourselves. You can be assured that the information available from this website is more comprehensive than anything you may be able to find anywhere else, and at a fraction of the cost companies typically pay when purchasing such information from traditional sources.

Salary Reports - detailed remuneration reports for around 200 different positions, which include a national analysis of base salary,    benefits and bonuses, as well as State and company size subsample statistics;

Salary Surveys - for those companies who may have a diverse set of positions, and/or are looking for a more cost-effective alternative provider for existing salary survey information, we have also taken all the 200+ individual position reports and collated them into an easy to use Salary Survey of Australian Jobs at a cost of under $1,000, which is around half as much as most other survey products on the market, with better quality information.

Annual Subscription - for employers who may not need a Salary Survey but who would still like to access reports on jobs quite often, we can arrange for you to have a special login code so that you can access as many reports as you want throughout the year for the one low subscription fee of $550. As part of our pricing arrangements we do offer an attractive discount if clients are prepared to provide us with their pay information. You can do this whilst keeping your identity private and anonymous; but nevertheless, we will never reveal our information sources and databases to anyone, under any circumstances. For added security, all our data is encrypted and stored off-site in a secure system that is not connected to the internet, and therefore unable to be accessed by hackers or other unauthorized personnel. There are only two members of the team who know all the passwords and system protections.

Remuneration information that is too old to be of current value is also deleted from our databases, so they always remain fresh, up to the minute and accurate. New reports will be prepared whenever the database changes by ~1% on average – which for most years will take around three months or so.

Of final note is our Guarantee to you that should you be unhappy with any report you have purchased from us, perhaps because it was the wrong job match or for some other reason; we will:

• give you the correct report for your circumstances; or
